Hi, I’m Kelly. After five years of training, I became a fully qualified counsellor in 2024 and finally realised my dream of opening my private practice.

I understand how difficult it can be to reach out for help, and I want to make that process as easy as possible. My approach is warm, down-to-earth, and focused on your individual needs.

I have experience working in a hospice setting, supporting people through grief and loss. While I am open to working with a wide range of clients, bereavement counselling is a particular area of expertise.

The kingfisher in my logo represents patience, peace, and transformation – just like the counselling journey. Therapy is about uncovering your true colours and finding hope again, even in difficult times.

Qualifications and accreditations

I am a fully qualified counsellor and achieved Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling (CPCAB).

I completed my placement at Douglas Macmillan Hospice, ran a volunteer-led walking group and was part of the volunteer response team during the Coronavirus pandemic.

I am an Accredited Registrant of the NCPS and a Registered Member of the BACP which means clients and employers have the assurance I meet the high standards of training and ethical practice.

I like to run and my next challenge is completing the London Marathon of April 2025. I enjoy reading, being outside and in good company.

I grew up in Spain and have experience of different cultures when I travelled throughout Australia and Thailand. I’ve always had cats growing up, and knew my career would evolve around a caring role.

After personal trauma, counselling changed my life. It empowered me to train to be a counsellor myself and run my own practice so I could pass that on and give back to others. I find it very rewarding helping others.
